Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has opened her goal account for Barcelona on her first outing with the team in Sunday's 4-0 win over Rayo Vallecano.
Having missed the Club last game against Levante due to fitness issues, the former African Women Footballer of the year who had stared for both Arsenal and Liverpool joined the Catalan giants on loan from Chinese side Dalian Quanjian back in January, scored 60 seconds after coming from the bench.
The falconet queen scored the fourth goal of the game, while the Blaugranes were leading their hosts by 3-0 after 30 minutes of play with strikes from the trio of Alexia Putellas, Marten and Mariona. The victory sees Barcelona Women three points behind the leaders Atlético Madrid at the top of the log.
Oshoala is expected to make her home debut for Lluís Cortés’s when Barcelona Femení face Sporting Heluva in a home game on Wednesday, February 13.
