The legendary Diego Maradona has been appointed as coach of Al-Fujairah FC, in the United Arab Emirates. Writing on his facebook page, the former Argentine captain said "I want to tell you that I am the new coach of Al-Fujairah SC, in the second division of the United Arab Emirates".
Confirming this, the club shared a picture of the former Barcelona striker with their traditional red and white shirt with his name and No. 10 inscribed on the back.
This appointment marks a return of the 56 years old to club management after his 2011 stint at another UAE club, Al Wasl.
