Nigerian born Chelsea wingback, Victor Moses is set to miss preseason training with his team mates at Chelsea following a recent toe surgery. Reports have it that the wingback who assisted the Blues to win the EPL with his sterling performance underwent a toe surgery at the end of the season after losing 2-1 to Arsenal in the FA cup final.
He is expected to join his teammates on July 17 but will not participate in any of the training exercises. He will be subjected to simple drills top speed up his recovery.
Mikel Obi had missed last year's preseason with the club after agreeing to represent Nigeria at the last Olympics. He was freeze out of the team by Chelsea gaffer, Antonio Conte after the Olympics, forcing his exit to the Chinese Super League.
Vigil360 gathered that associates of the prolific wingback are afraid that Conte might freeze him out of the team if he is impressed by other players in the team.
