Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr has called on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to avoid any distraction which could potentially rise from a row over bonuses at the World Cup next year in Russia.
The Franco-German coach urged NFF to do their best possible to guide against controversies over bonuses at next year World Cup.
Rohr said although it’s peculiar for African team to have such issues, it would be nice if the NFF nip it in the bud, as it will help the team in their quest to do well during the World Cup.
“The first goal now is to have a united voice not only around the team but also around us. When I say a united team, I mean everybody around the federation (NFF) should be moving in the same direction”, Rohr said.
“If you want to do something and get good results, you must prepare well for that. We want the same solidarity as we have in the team because the team and the staff are in solidarity and we wish to have the same around because this is the first major outing we are going to make.
