Tecno has introduced two AI-powered smart glasses as part of its MWC 2025 lineup. Resembling regular eyewear, these innovative devices offer advanced features like object recognition, translation, text summarization, and even an AR display. While Tecno is primarily known for its smartphones and tablets—many of which don’t always make a lasting impact—the Transsion-owned brand occasionally surprises the market with groundbreaking devices, such as the Tecno Pocket Go Windows gaming handheld. Now, Tecno is venturing into the smart glasses segment with two AI-driven wearables.

Dubbed Tecno AI Glasses and Tecno AI Glasses Pro, these smart glasses maintain a conventional appearance while integrating cutting-edge AI technology. Crafted from magnesium alloy and ultra-light composite materials, they are as lightweight as standard sunglasses. Users can choose between two design styles—eyebrow frame and aviator.

Both models are powered by Tecno AI and come with a built-in voice assistant, Tecno Ella, which can be activated through voice command or by tapping the temple. The assistant supports various functions, including object recognition, text summarization, translation, and business recommendations. Additionally, users can access stored notes, memos, and personal schedules with ease.

Each pair of glasses is equipped with integrated cameras, while the Tecno AI Glasses Pro offers an AR display, enhancing the real-time navigation experience. However, Tecno has yet to disclose the technical specifications or confirm the availability of these AI glasses.
