The International Police (Interpol) has issued an arrest warrant for former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Allison-Madueke following a request by the Federal Government to the Agency. Reports have it that, the necessary charges had been filed with an attachment of November 4, 2018 order for her arrest by Justice Valentine Ashi of the FCT High Court, Abuja.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed a N1.4 billion fraud charge against Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) President Paul Usoro (SAN), at the Federal High Court in Lagos. Justice Muslim Hassan fixed December 10 for the EFCC to arraign Usoro

The Police Command in Kaduna on Friday said it had arrested nine suspected members of Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) known as the Shiite over violent attack on police officers in the state.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has once again been indicted by some arrested suspects of Offa bank robbery, Channels Television reports.

The Nigeria Police Force said the Senate President is still under investigation after the suspects indicted him in their confessional statements.

The governor stated this on Monday when he visited the troubled Uma’asha community in Toto Local Government area of the state.

The Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau on Monday said 182 inmates out of the 210 that escaped from the Medium Security Prison in Minna, Niger state, after an armed attack are still at large. The Minister who undertook an on-the-spot assessment of the facility after the incident said most of the prisoners who had almost completed their jail terms returned to the prison willingly.
