Former leader of the defunct Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger-Delta, Dokubo Asari, has threatened to kill Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in a courtroom when he sees him. Dokubo issued this threat yesterday through his official Facebook page. The former militant leader was reacting to a rumor that he was beaten up by some IPOB members for talking negatively about their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in recent times.
Dokubo slammed the claim saying the day such a thing will happen; he will personally enter a courtroom and kill Nnamdi Kanu by himself.
In the video, he disclosed that such a claim by IPOB members is a brazen lie from the pit of hell fabricated to make headlines.
Reacting the militant leaders said, “You can think o, you can talk, but the day you attempt all these lies that you are lying, I will practically go and kill Nnamdi Kanu even in the court, even with Nigerian Military and all the Nigerian security agencies around.
“I will not send anybody, I will practically go there and kill him with my own hands,” he threatened.
There has been a frosty relationship between Dokubo Asari and Nnamdi Kanu in recent times with some IPOB members blaming the militant leader for being responsible for giving out the IPOB leader for extradition from Kenya.
Kanu is facing terrorism and other related charges of inciting violence in southeastern Nigeria before the High Court in Abuja.
