The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the release of the result of the November/December 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), which was made known on Thursday by NECO Registrar, Prof. Dantani Wushishi. According to him, a total of 59,124 candidates sat for the examinations consisting of 31,316 males and 27,808 females, representing 52.96 percent and 47.03 percent respectively.
He said 44,162 out of 58,012 of the candidates who sat for English Language got Credit and above while 43,096 out of 57,700 who sat for Mathematics got Credit and above.
Wushishi also said that 11,419 candidates were booked for different forms of examination malpractice, adding that some supervisors were involved in malpractice.
He said, “This led to the blacklisting of 4 supervisors, one each from Rivers and Plateau States and 2 from Ogun State for aiding and abetting as well as poor supervision.”
The examinations were held between 21 November to 21 December 2022 with a total of 29 subjects.
Candidates were advised to access their results on the NECO website via www.neco.gov.ng by using their registration number.
