Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has disclosed that maintaining his celebrity lifestyle comes with a hefty price tag, revealing that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 every month. The award-winning singer made the revelation during a recent livestream with content creator Davrel, where he spoke about the financial demands of fame and the responsibilities that come with his status.
According to Davido, his monthly expenditure ranges from about N300 million to N400 million, stressing that the figure covers only his personal expenses.
“I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 every month, and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household,” he said.
The singer further clarified that the estimate excludes some of his biggest luxury purchases, noting that items such as exotic cars and expensive jewellery are not factored into the monthly spending.
“It also doesn’t include expenses for the purchase of luxury cars and jewellery,” he said.
Davido's comments have sparked conversations on social media about the financial realities of celebrity life, with many fans reacting to the scale of the Afrobeats star's monthly expenses.
