Organisers of Big Brother Naija have announced that the highly anticipated 2026 edition of the reality television show will premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with a record-breaking N160 million grand prize up for grabs. The announcement was made during a press briefing on Wednesday, where the organisers unveiled plans for the new season, officially tagged Season 11.
The N160 million reward is the largest grand prize ever offered in the history of the BBNaija franchise since the reality show debuted in 2006, marking a significant increase from previous editions.
Preparations for the new season began earlier this year with physical auditions held in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu between May 22 and 24, 2026.
Participation in the audition process was free, with eligibility limited to aspiring housemates aged 21 years and above who possessed a valid means of identification.
With the premiere date now confirmed, fans are eagerly awaiting another season of drama, entertainment and competition as contestants battle for the biggest prize in the show's history.
