Nigeria has recorded about 155 new Covid-19 cases bringing the total number of cases to 66,383 confirmed cases, with 62,076 recoveries. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the revelation on its website on Monday November 23. According to the health agency the death toll in the country has risen to 1167.

The NYSC State Coordinator of Kano, Aisha Tata, has disclosed that two of her new corps members who just arrive at the NYSC Orientation camp have tested positive for coronavirus infection. The Coordinator made this known while speaking with journalists shortly after the swearing-in ceremony of the 2020 Batch ‘B’ stream ‘A’ corps members today.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed the agency has recorded fresh 112 infections of the coronavirus across the county. The Health agency made this known today that the infections were reported in 14 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT making the total toll of the infection to 64,996.

The continued rise in the cases of Lassa fever across some states in Nigeria has started giving concern to the Federal Government. The Minister of Health for the state, Olorunnimbe Mamora, has expressed worry during a joint national briefing during the Presidential Task Force of the (PTF) on COVID-19.
