President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, was on Friday included in the CAF Emergency Committee. The decision to include him in the Emergency committee was taken at the just concluded CAF Extraordinary General Assembly holding in Rabat, Morocco.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has ratified the proposed expansion of the African Cup of Nation (AFCON) from 16 participating nations to 24. The Confederation made the disclosure in a statement posted on its website after the two-day Symposium held in Skhirat, near Rabat, Morocco. According to the organization, "CAF Executive Committee reached a consensus on increasing the Africa Cup of Nations to 24 teams as of the 2019 edition"
