Manchester United legend, Roy Keane, has hinted that outgoing Manchester United midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne, could join the Red Devils after leaving Manchester City as a free agent this summer. The 33-year-old Belgium international has made public of his plan exit from Manchester City latest by the end of this season.
The midfielder disclosed that he was not happy that Man City did not offer to renew his contract.
Consequently, he has since developed interest for clubs in the United States and Saudi Arabia of recent.
While speaking with Sky Sports correspondence, the former England goalkeeper, Shay Given insisted that the Manchester City might end up regretting their decision of letting the legend walk away.
Meanwhile, Keane is speculating that De Bruyne could join Manchester United.
He said, “United? He wouldn’t have to move house,” since both Premier League giants share the same city.
According to some football analysts, De Bruyne is still regarded as one of the top midfielders across the globe.
Record have it that the former Chelsea star after featuring in the 2024-25 season has scored five goals and laid out eight assists in 35 appearances across competitions for Manchester City.
