President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned in its totality the massacre of over 50 people by a group of bandit in Kaduna village, warning the terror gang that they should not think the government would allow them to establish a terror rein without facing stiff resistance from the government in its quest to protect the citizens.

 

Buhari said; the criminals should not think they are lucky by getting away with that, his government is determined that criminality and their collaborators are stamped out in totality from the land no matter how long it will take, they can only run but cannot hide, promising the government will find them and bring them to justice.

Contained in a statement through his Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, the Federal Government vowed to sustain the Military operation in the state.

The President expressed regret that citizens are being killed for no just reason, he said considering the report received, the criminals are being frustrated by the onslaught unleashed on them by the government forces in the Birnin Gwari and Kajuru forest, consequently, venting their frustration on innocent civilians.

Buhari reiterated that his administration would not allow itself to be blackmailed by criminals to abort the offensive launched against them by the security forces.

Commiserating with the victims on what he described as “heinous attack” in Kaduna state.

Mr President assured the people of Kaduna state of the government commitment to protecting them at all cost through the deployment of all available resources to ensure the criminals are dragged on their knees.

The bandits had on Sunday unleashed terror on four villages in Igabi Local Government Area of the state, killing 51 persons and leaving scours injured.

The affected villages were; Kerawa, Zariyawa and Marina all in Kerawa Ward of the local government.
