The Kaduna state Magistrate Court 1 has set free two of the three suspects under investigation with the police in connection to the death of flying office Tolulope Arotile, Nigeria’s first female helicopter fighter pilot. The two suspects Folorunsho Igbekele Faith and Gbayegun Deji, who were both only passengers and friends of the first suspect who was driving the vehicle, were found not wanting based on Police findings.
Kaduna state Director of Public Prosecution had also advised that the two had no case to answer to.
The first suspect, Nehemiah Adejor, who drove the car that killed the Air Force Flying Officer is however to be charged for culpable homicide and criminal conspiracy, in the State High Court. He, however, will not be punished with death.
The police at the end of their investigation said, there was no premeditation in the death of the Flying Officer.
