Armed men suspected to be kidnappers has launched their attack on Bethel Secondary School, Maramara in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State earlier today where scores of students were kidnapped. It was reported that gunmen stormed the school premises at about 1 am the early hour of Monday while shooting sporadically as they made away with unspecific students.
Similarly, unknown gunmen who were fully armed stormed into the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre in Zaria Kaduna State, abducting no fewer than seven people, including a nursing mother, in Sunday's early hour.
The hoodlum who also attacked the Saya Divisional Police Headquarters in Zaria riddled a patrol van with bullets during their rampage.
Meanwhile, about three children in the Bandarawa community, Kaduna North Local Government Area have sustained varying degrees of injuries following an explosion in the area at about 4:30 pm on Saturday, which eventually claimed one person.
Giving an update on the incident, the spokesperson of the Kaduna Police Command, Mohammed Jalige, said an Improvised Explosive Device was concealed in three bottles of popular children’s Juice (Viju Milk).
