The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the results for the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for Unity Schools. This was made known by the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu during a press briefing about the outcome of the examinations at the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.


According to reports, a total of 71,291 candidates registered for the examination out of which 66,931 candidates sat for the examination on Saturday, June 1, 2024 in Nigeria as well as Togo and Benin Republic while 4,360 candidates were absent.

The Minister disclosed that out of the maximum obtainable score of 210, only one candidate obtained the highest score of 203 and 13 candidates obtained the lowest score of 1.

He further stated that the admission process will be based on 60% merit as usual.
