Super Eagles of Nigeria drop 3 places in latest FIFA Ranking. Several of the biggest names in international football reportedly made significant gains in the latest edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking. In the new ranking released on Thursday, June 14th, Nigeria ranked 45th, three positions down from where it used to be during the last ranking in April 2019.

Football lovers may be in for a show as the 2019/2020 season of the Premier League is out.  Defending champions Manchester City would open their title defence with a trip to the London Stadium to face West Ham United.  Liverpool would take on Norwich City.

Nigeria's Women Football team, Super Falcons have on Wednesday defeated South Korean 2-0 to, in efforts to work towards qualifying for the knockout stage of the 2019 Women's World Cup.

Goncalo Guedes' second-half strike was enough to see Portugal crowned champions at the inaugural Nations League finals with a 1-0 victory over Netherland in front of a jubilant home crowd in Porto, hence making Portugal the first European nation to host and win a final of a major tournament since France beat Brazil 3-0 in the final of France'98.
