Former Brazil coach, Carlos Alberto Parreira will head the FIFA Technical Study Group for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia according to a report on FIFA.com.

The FIFA Technical Study Group (TSG) which has been present at every FIFA World Cup since 1966 is saddled with the responsibility of analysing the matches of FIFA’s flagship event and evaluate statistical data using the latest technologies also has former Super Eagles left-winger, Emmanuel Amuneke as a member.

Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is gutted that he won't be representing Nigeria at the upcoming World Cup in Russia and has sent an encouraging good luck message to his international teammates.

Whilst Moses was excused from the friendly against Democratic Republic of Congo on Monday, Chinese-based duo Mikel and Ighalo were non-playing substitutes following their long trip from Asia.

Rohr added that Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has a slim chance of playing against the Three Lions.
