Street-pop singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has explained why he abandoned his celebrity boxing rematch against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha. In a video shared on his Instagram page on Saturday, Portable accused Okocha of abandoning the rules of boxing by resorting to wrestling and attacking him unfairly during the contest.
Displaying what he described as bite marks and injuries on his back and other parts of his body, the singer alleged that Okocha bit him during the bout and claimed that several people joined in attacking him.
“They said he eats Molly. He didn’t see Molly anymore. So he ate my back. Man, he bit me. I landed a heavy hit on him,” Portable said.
The singer maintained that he was in control of the fight before the incident occurred, repeatedly insisting that he landed more punches on Okocha than he received.
The celebrity boxing rematch ended in controversy after Portable walked out during the opening round, resulting in Charles Okocha being declared the winner.
