The President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Mr Amaju Melvin Pinnick is facing severe pressure to resign from his esteemed office following the failure of the super eagles not being able to qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Augustine Eguavoen has resigned from his position as Nigeria national team coach with immediate effect, just three months after he took over from Gernot Rohr. Eguavoen has sent an official resignation letter to the NFF, according to a report by Brilla FM, Eguavoen will now return to his role as Technical Director of all national teams. This is coming barely 48 hours after the Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
