Nigeria have been drawn against Australia, Argentina and Turkey in Group B of the 2018 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup from September 22 to 30 in Tenerife, Spain. According to the draw, D’Tigress will start their campaign at the tournament against Australia on September 22 before facing Turkey on September 23 and Argentina on September 25.
The lingering leadership dispute in the NBBF has been laid to rest as FIBA called for fresh elections into the board of NBBF. FIBA has, in a letter to all concerned parties on Thursday, called for a fresh election to settle the federation’s lingering leadership dispute.
