UEFA have decided that 2020/21 Champions League and Europa League spots will be decided on 'sporting merit' if the season has not successfully resumed by June. That would mean a points-per-game tally, which would mean the current Premier League top four would qualify. The European footballing body also UEFA announced that suspended domestic competitions could restart with a different format like the playoffs or a points-per-game tally which would facilitate clubs to qualify on sporting merit'.

Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa and Ade Akinbiyi have been listed among 'The 50 worst players in Premier League history' by FourFourTwo Magazine, saying the duo's career did not flourish in the EPL. Musa who plays for Leicester City ranked 44th on the list, while Akinbiyi ranked 29th.
