Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has made the final shortlist for the 2023 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Player Of The Year. Osimhen, the only Nigerian to make the cut will be seeking to crown an impressive year with the biggest individual awards on the continent.
The forward whose goals were instrumental to Napoli winning the Italian Scuddeto after three decades was also crowned the top scorer, and African with the most goals in the league. It can be recalled that he finished eighth in the 2023 Ballon d’Or awards a few weeks ago.
