Super Eagles caretaker coach, Augustine Eguavoen in preparation for the 2025 CHAN qualifier championship clash with Ghana Galaxies has invited 30 players for the team Nigeria. The CHAN game is exclusively reserved for footballers plying their trade with clubs in their country’s domestic Leagues.
Kano Pillars’ evergreen midfielder, Rabiu Ali, who has scored eight goals this season, is among the players called, alongside Remo Stars’ goalkeeper Kayode Bankole, Rivers United defender Steven Mayo, and Abia Warriors’ exciting forward Sunday Megwo.
More so, experienced striker, Sikiru Alimi, Nasarawa United defender Victor Collins and in-form Kwara United midfielder, Emmanuel Ogbole are also named in the squad.
Accordingly, all the invited players have been instructed to arrive at the Remo Stars Sports Institute, Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State on or before Wednesday.
Ghana will be hosting the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium come Sunday, December 22.
Meanwhile, the second leg will take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, December 28.
