The Super Eagles of Nigeria has cemented its place in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers after thrashing Seychelles to top the group with a 3-1 home win in Asaba, Delta State on Friday evening.
Top scorer Odion Ighalo scored first from the penalty spot while Galatasaray forward Henry Onyekuru added the second with a beautiful header.
The Seychelles side although equalized Ighalo’s effort, Levante man Moses Simon added the last goal almost immediately he came in for the injured Shanghai forward.
The Super Eagles will now be facing Egypt in an International friendly on Wednesday, 27th March at the same venue.
