EPL: Garry Lineker Revealed Conversation With Salah’s Future In Liverpool

Former England international, Gary Lineker has revealed his conversation with Mohamed Salah about his future with Liverpool. Salah has been hinted to quit from Liverpool to join the Saudi Pro League. The Egyptian international is yet to sign a new contract with the Reds. Salah current deal with Arne Slot’s side has been slated to expire at the end of the season.

Speaking on podcast about Salah on the Rest of Football, Lineker said he had recently met the winger.

“He’s a lovely guy. I spent 10 minutes with him when I went to visit Arne Slot [for a BBC interview],” Lineker told Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer.

“Did you not get it out of him whether he’s staying or going or not?” Shearer asked.

 

And he went, ‘…yeah, I might do the same’. He [then] winked at the press guy that was there!

“It was just a joke but he has got that cheeky sense of humour has Mo.”
