Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard kicks when his side was denied a penalty kick after Man-U defender, Henry Maguire pulled down Cesar Azpilicueta during a corner kick in Saturday’s match that ended in a draw.
Maguire bear-hugged the Spaniard in the 40th minute, though Chelsea demanded a penalty kick, neither the referee nor the VAR decided to yield to their demand.
Shortly after the game, Lampard lamented why the VAR ignored him.
While talking to BBC match he said; “Yeah, holding is allowed, but headlocks don’t go on,”
He added, “I don’t know why VAR didn’t take long and there’s also a monitor to look at. I think if the referee goes to the monitor he gives a penalty.
The blues are now left in sixth place with nine points after the match.
