The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) on Thursday released its latest ranking. According to the Coca Cola World Ranking published on FIFA website, fifa.com, the Super Eagles of Nigeria maintained their 51st position in the world ranking and also retained the 9th position in Africa.
The top 10 ranked countries in the world are Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium in fifth position. Spain, Poland Switzerland, France and Chile followed successively.
In Africa, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco and Congo DR occupied the 23rd, 24th, 30th, 39th and 43rd positions respectively.
The African countries were also ranked first to fifth in that order.
