Sevilla manager, Garcia Pimienta has expressed optimism that Kelechi Iheanacho could bounce back to form in another club. Iheanacho joined the Rojiblancos on a free transfer last summer after he parted ways with Premier League club, Leicester City. The Nigerian international has however struggled to make much impact at the club despite his huge past record.

The 28-year-old forward has netted two goals in his 11 appearances across all competitions for Sevilla.

Iheanacho has been linked with a move away from the former UEFA Europa League champions this month.

Accordingly, it was learned that Watford, Ipswich Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in his services.

Pimienta disclosed that Iheanacho still have what it takes to play at the highest level and bring result.
“I don’t know the reason, but there are players who fit in better in one environment than in another,” Pimienta was quoted by eldesmarque.com.

“For whatever reason, he hasn’t performed at the level we expected, but I’m sure that he might do so elsewhere, because I see him training and I see the quality he has” Pimienta concluded.
