Leicester City new striker Kelechi Iheanacho is a huge doubt for their Premier League clash against Brighton this weekend in the second round of games in the English Premier League. According to Coach Craig Shakespeare, Iheanacho might not make his home debut tomorrow as he faces a late test and also sees a specialist before a decision can be taken on his inclusion for the tie.

The toe injury according to the coach is a bit different from normal cases as their medics have not been able to find a cure for it, which has made them send him to a specialist.

He said: “We’re trying to give him enough time to recover – he’s been having some discomfort with it.

“He can run, but not at full pelt and sometimes when he kicks the ball he feels it. We’re trying to manage it.

He disclosed that, Iheanacho is “Going to see the specialist was more a case of trying to get a second opinion on it.”

Iheanacho who recently moved to Leicester City in a £25 million deal from Manchester city, was a 75 minute substitute in the Foxes first game against Arsenal which they lost 4 -3.
