The legal representative of Brazil captain Neymar, Marcos Motta has revealed that there is no release clause contained the player's contract with Paris Saint Germain (PSG) amidst interest from Real Madrid. Speaking with reporters recently, Motta was quoted by Marca as saying
"In Neymar Jr.'s contract, I can guarantee you that there is no clause for his release in the transfer market.
"The father of Neymar Jr sent me an SMS in mid-July to ask me to travel immediately to the United States and complete the contracts."
Recent reports have suggested that the Brazilian sensation has struggled to settle into his new surroundings following his controversial and sudden move from Barcelona for a world record 222 million Euros just months ago.
Real Madrid are believed to be interested in pulling off a shock move with the former Blaugrana ace touted as a replacement for the ageing Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Marcos Motta, a member of Neymar's legal team, has confirmed that no such clause exists in the player's contract and that Neymar Snr had approached him to seal his move to PSG back in July.
Meanwhile, despite scoring four goals in the 8-0 victory over Dijon on Wednesday night, Neymar reportedly left the Parc de Princes devastated and went straight to the dressing room. According to Marca, the Brazilian was not happy the way fans chanted for Cavani to take the penalty that he eventually took to seal the game.
