The body of Argentine Footballer, Emilliano Sala has been recovered and identified by the British Police from the submerged crashed aircraft. According to NAN, the body was found by rescuers on Sunday near British Island of Guernsey, with the use of remotely operated Vehicle (ROV) and later taken to the Isle of Portland in Southern England for official identification by the UK coroners.
Sala was travelling after a transfer of 17 million euros ($19.3m) to meet his new Cardiff City team from Nantes in France in a light plane when it went missing alongside the pilot, David Ibbotson.
However, the Britain Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) have said that it would be closing the operation, as it has not been able to recover the plane due to the busy shipping crossway as well as the bad weather forecast.
Meanwhile, Nantes through proper legal options had ensured that Cardiff pays the transfer fees for the 28 year old striker.
Football fans are continuously mourning the tragic incident.
