Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr is set to invite Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel for the games against Cameroon in August and September.

A source within the NFF said the former Rangers goaltender is billed to take over as the first choice goalkeeper at South Africa Premier Soccer League Side Orlando Pirates in the coming season.
Speaking to Owngoalnigeria, the source said: “Yes Daniel is in consideration, but for now focus is on the home based goalkeepers, Daniel will be invited for the Cameroon game. Rohr knows a lot about him and obviously likes him a lot
“Look there’s no goalkeeper crisis in the Super Eagles. The media is just making a fuss out of Carl Ikeme‘s absence. Yes he is the first choice goalkeeper and most certainly he will be missed, but it doesn’t mean we don’t have a replacement”.
