Andy Murray is set to miss the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati due to reported hip injury. The world number 1 made this known on Wednesday in a post on his Facebook wall.
The post reads;
"Unfortunately I won’t be playing in Cincinnati as I continue my recovery. I always enjoy playing there and I look forward to returning next year. I’m continuing to work hard on the court with the aim of being in New York."
ESPN reported that the top ranked Murray has not played in a competitive game since his Wembledon quarterfinal where he lost to Sam Querrey in July.
