Premier Lotto has signed a $75,000 endorsement deal with table tennis star Aruna Quadri. According to a statement by the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, the three-year contract gives sporting bet company the right to use Quadri’s name, signature and photographs to promote its business.
The Portugal-based player, who emerged as the first African to reach the quarterfinals of Olympic Games in Rio last year, said he was happy that Premier Lotto decided to support him ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in Japan. He said, “I am so happy with this development and this is indeed a dream come true for me because I have been looking for an opportunity like this, particularly from my home country.
This is indeed a morale-booster for me to continue to work harder and hoping that Premier Lotto’s support will help me to attend more competitions and play with the best in the world in my bid to continue to make Nigeria proud. I hope to do better than what I achieved at Rio 2016 at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.”
WEO Allsports, The promoters of the deal, believes it would help the 2014 (ITTF) Star Player of the Year to continue his development and help him attain his goal of being a top 10 player in the world.
The company commended the Chairman of Premier Lotto, Chief Kessington Adebutu, for supporting Quadri.
