World number 2 Novak Djokovic has sacked his entire coaching crew, including Marian Vajda, just before the commencement of the Madrid open.
The Serbian who believes that the "shock therapy" will be helpful in achieving better results have disclosed that he will be on the tour alone until he finds another coaching crew.
A statement on Djokovic's website indicates that he and head coach Vajda, fitness coach Gebhard Phil Gritsch and physiotherapist Miljan Amanovic had "mutually agreed" to "end their successful and long-term partnership".
He appreciated them for their immerse contribution and commitment to his career. He said "Without their support I couldn't have achieved these professional heights, but we all felt that we need a change".
Djokovic who lost his world number one spot to Britain's Andy Murray in November 2016 is not happy about his present position and thinks a change in his technical team will help him bounce back to the number one spot.
