President Bola Tinubu has nominated the immediate former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, as the new Minister of Defence.
His nomination was contained in a letter addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, following the resignation of his successor, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar.
According to the letter to the Senate, President Tinubu noted that he has confidence in General Musa to lead the Defence Ministry and also improve the country’s security architecture.
