The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has reportedly rescued a 13-year-old boy and seven other victims in two separate operations in Rigasa, Maguzawa and Gurguzu forests of Kaduna State.
The kidnapper identified as Mustapha Ibrahim said to be a resident of Daura Road was on his way to deliver the victim, Abubakar Aminu of Maraban Rido Village Chukun L.G.A Kaduna State to his gang members when he was caught.
Briefing the press on their release, Police Spokesman in the State, DSP Yakubu Sabo, said the suspect subsequently led the operatives to rescue two other victims in their criminal hideout namely Ismaila Hussaini and Hussaini Umar both residing at Ado-Gwaram area of Rigasa Kaduna.
He noted that the suspect is currently helping Police investigation.
Sabo stressed that the Commissioner of Police, Ali Aji Janga appealed to the general public to keep supporting the police with prompt and reliable information so as to enable the command nip crime in the bud.
