President Muhammadu Buhari has directed security agencies in Imo State, to investigate the murder of the traditional ruler of Obudi Agwa, Mr. Ignatius Asor, and three others in the state.
Mr. President, in a statement by his Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, condemned the attack and commiserated with the bereaved families. “The President directs security agencies in the state to thoroughly investigate the dastardly act and ensure that the perpetrators face the full wrath of the law,” the statement said.

The federal government has announced the resumption of train operation at the Kaduna-Abuja rail track after several months of shutdown. The Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Sambo made this known today in Abuja while presenting the scorecard for his stewardship. Recall during the month of March 2022 the train operation came under attack from members of the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP where they took dozens of passengers hostage leading the Federal Government to suspend its operations.
