The heavily armed bandits who wrecked havoc in Zamfara and sounding states have threatened to wipe out Bafarawa and Kamarawa villages, of Isa Local Government Area, Sokoto State.
According to a source in the village, the suspected bandits arrived Bafarawa on Friday night riding motorcycles, armed with AK-47 rifles and issued the threat after buying fuel in the town. The criminals then proceeded and attacked the house of a former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa in Bafarawa. They killed his security guard, Mallam Abdullahi and abducted his nephew, Abdulrasheed Sa’idu.
Meanwhile, effort to reach the spokesman of the Sokoto State Police Command, DSP Muhammad Sadiq to confirm the incident proves abortive as his GSM number cannot connect.
