The Chinese Government has reportedly awarded scholarships to 58 Nigerians among whom were 16 doctorate degree students, 39 masters’ degree and three undergraduates.

The Federal Government on Friday approved the appointment of Dr. Suleiman Ramon-Yusuf as Deputy Executive Secretary (Academics) and Dr. Kidado Kumo as Deputy Executive Secretary (Administration) for the National Universities Commission (NUC).

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has disclosed that it cannot at the moment, pay the N30,000 minimum wage to corps members because it is yet to get such directive from the Federal Government. Also, disclosed a plan to hand over fake graduates coming for mobilization to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for prosecution.

She made the revelation on Monday, 29th, July 2019 at the formal launch of the 'Redesigned Training Modules on Structured Mandatory Assessment-Based Training Programme' (SMART-P) and the 'Leadership, Enhancement Advancement Development Programme' (LEAD-P).
