In what appears to be the reward for dedication and hard work, the Federal government of Nigeria has offered automatic employment to 168 outstanding members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), who served in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Following various intervention programmes by the Government of Nigeria, International agencies, and various development partners, the minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu has revealed that the number of Out-of-School (OSC) Children in the country has reduced from a whopping 13.2 million to 10.2 million.

The Executive Secretary (ES) of National University Commission (NUC), Professor Abubakar Rasheed revealed the commission is currently reviewing university curriculum to improve the quality of the university system with the view of making Nigerian graduates compete with their global counterpart.

The Director-General (DG), of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Major General Suleiman Kazaure said the federal government is set to increase the corps monthly allowance as soon as the National Minimum wage takes effect.
