Following various intervention programmes by the Government of Nigeria, International agencies, and various development partners, the minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu has revealed that the number of Out-of-School (OSC) Children in the country has reduced from a whopping 13.2 million to 10.2 million.

The Executive Secretary (ES) of National University Commission (NUC), Professor Abubakar Rasheed revealed the commission is currently reviewing university curriculum to improve the quality of the university system with the view of making Nigerian graduates compete with their global counterpart.

The Director-General (DG), of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Major General Suleiman Kazaure said the federal government is set to increase the corps monthly allowance as soon as the National Minimum wage takes effect.

Delta state government through the Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, Chiedu Ebie, has declared all Public Schools within the State tuition-free. Following a viral video on a 7yrs old primary 3 pupil who was sent home in Delta State for not paying school fees, the state authorities have rescinded that the levies imposed on pupils in the school were illegal and has subsequently suspended the head teacher.
