A notorious bandit leader, Isuhu Madele, popularly known as Dan Isuhu, has been neutralized by a rival gang loyal to Dogo Gide through ambush in Katsina forest. Mr Dan Isuhu had become a dreaded name whom has been terrorizing towns and villages like Tsafe and neighboring communities, Dansadau, Sabuwa and some parts of Gusau in Zamfara State as well as Faskari, Kankara and Funtua in Katsina State.


It was learned that Dan Isuhu met his waterloo yesterday at Danjibga village in Danjibga district of Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara state where he gave up the ghost after a serious gun duel.

Sources revealed that after sustaining a serious gunshot injury on his head, Mr Dan Isuhu become incapacitated.

Subsequently, his gang members rushed him to Kunchin Kalgo Dispensary where he was confirmed dead.

“Report indicated that there was long misunderstanding between the two groups whereby Madele killed several loyalists of Gide.

Narrating the ordeal, the source said, “In a retaliatory attack, the Dogo Gide gang ambushed Dan Isuhu on his way to Keta to reinforce another set of bandits engaged in another gun duel with a joint team of security forces, community protection guards (CPG) and service asset.

“Furthermore, the bandits invaded Kunchin Kalgo village, shooting sporadically in an attempt to rescue Dan Isuhu.

Meanwhile, the terrorists scampered to Dangajeru forest with the corpse of the deceased bandit kingpin.

There was a state of pandemonium in both Danjibga and Kunchin Kalgo villages as several people were caught in the crossfire during the gun duel, the source concluded.
