The U.S. Mission in Nigeria has reiterated that visa fees are non-refundable, adding that it is in line with global practices. This was disclosed in a post on the official X handle on Tuesday.
The post reads as follows: “We hear your concerns regarding U.S. visa application fees. Like most countries, U.S. visa fees cover the cost of processing the application, regardless of the outcome.
“While fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, each application is reviewed thoroughly and fairly.”
The US Mission also urged applicants to utilize all resources on its website to assist in the visa application process.
