Christina Ricci received a prestigious honor on Thursday as she was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her star, the 2,803rd on the iconic boulevard, is one of many unveiled each year, with an average of 30 new additions spanning categories such as film, television, radio, music, theater, and sports entertainment. Ricci first gained recognition in the 1990s as a child star, famously portraying Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and Addams Family Values. She went on to star in beloved teen films like Casper, Now and Then, and Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain, where she appeared alongside My Girl actress Anna Chlumsky.
As her career evolved, Ricci transitioned into adult roles, starring in notable films such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with Johnny Depp, No Vacancy, and Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow, where she reunited with Depp.
Her diverse filmography also includes her portrayal of Lizzie Borden in Lizzie Borden Took an Ax and The Lizzie Borden Chronicles, as well as key roles in Monster and Distorted.
