Ahead of MWC, Tecno has introduced the Spark Slim, the world's thinnest smartphone, measuring just 5.75mm thick. Despite its ultra-slim design, it boasts dual 50 MP cameras and a robust 5,200 mAh battery. However, the Spark Slim is currently a concept device, with no confirmed launch date. While Tecno will showcase demo units at MWC, it’s uncertain whether the phone will reach the market in its current form.
The device features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, a 1224p resolution, and a 144 Hz refresh rate. It delivers a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and houses a 13 MP front camera.
The battery, just 4.04mm thick, supports 45W fast charging. Although the camera bump adds some thickness, the device remains remarkably slim.
Tecno has not revealed the chipset but confirms it includes an octa-core CPU. Given the size constraints, a flagship-level platform with advanced cooling is unlikely.
The Spark Slim will be showcased at MWC in Barcelona, and we look forward to exploring the device firsthand.
