In a bid to curb the excessive use of steroids on livestock and its implication on public health, the Niger state government has raised concerns over use steroids by livestock farmers and butchers across the twenty-five (25), Local Government Area of the State.
A statement by the Adamawa State Ministry of Health on Monday, has confirmed 19 new cases of cholera in Mubi North and Mubi South Local Government Areas (LGAs) respectively.
The Information Officer of the ministry, Mohammed Abubakar, said that 16 of the new cases were recorded in Mubi South LGA, while the other three happened in Mubi North.
