A 10-year-old girl was reported to have given birth to a baby girl on Monday at a hospital in Makurdi, Benue State.
The Daily Trust reported that some altruistic people helped in transferring her to a better hospital upon hearing the news.
She was immediately taken into the theatre on arrival at the Foundation hospital and in less than an hour, she was delivered of a baby girl weighing 2:5 kg through caesarean section. Though the father of the baby is not yet known.
